About the Team

The Byrd Aircraft Recovery Expedition team is made up of entirely volunteer support. That support ranges from business support to logistics and documentary production. This world class team is dedicated to recovering Byrd's Fokker Universal and documenting the recovery both archaeologically and historically. Even more so, the team is dedicated to raising funds for research and to promote awareness of Parkinson's Disease, a chronic and progressive disease for which there is not yet a cure.
